Shirley Terry-Lopez the founder and CEO of Beyond Beaute' Day Spa and Wellness Retreat which opened 1986. She has been an Esthetician over 30 yrs and is a national and international speaker and writer on the science of skincare. Shirley created one of the very first day spas in the Houston area. She began providing skincare, facials, makeup, and other services to women with the goal of helping them feel better about themselves.
Shirley is driven by her passion in helping to create positive change in people’s lives. She expands her passion outside the Spa by donating her time and money for local community charities. With a team comprised of more than 60 highly trained and experienced personnel, she leads by example and inspires all who cross her path.
As the saying goes, "with age comes wisdom" and over time Shirley learned through experience that true beauty really does come from within. "My own life experiences have taught me that all of our choices add up to create the person we bring to the world each day," she says. "Choosing positive thoughts and words, nurturing people, good food, exercise, laughter, and many more complements combine to brighten us inside and out."
