South Main Baptist Church is a unique Baptist church with a vibrant heritage intentionally located in the heart of Midtown Houston. While we have a love of tradition, we also have a fresh vision for the present and future for all of God's children. God has been working and moving through the South Main Baptist Church family for over 110 years. Started in 1903, our congregation has deep roots, a legacy of diversity, and a passion for service. We are a faith community striving to experience God's presence each time we gather.
